Free Video Editing Tools - Video GIF

This is part 4 of our series on free Vidds tools.

At Vidds, our main app is a full video editing and creation platform in your browser, but we’ve also created free tools that handle basic video editing tasks without requiring an account signup.

Today we’re talking about the video to GIF converter. We created a tool to turn any video into a GIF, in your browser.

It’s super simple to use:

1. Open the GIF Converter tool.
2. Drag and drop your video, or click the red box to select a file from your computer. If your browser can’t load the video.
3. Select “Convert”, and then choose the “Animated GIF” option.
4. Click “Go!” to start the conversion, then save the video with the Download link.

We built this because creating a video GIF shouldn’t require complex software. For example:

• You need to embed a GIF in your email to make it more engaging.
• You want a GIF to loop on your website.
• You want to quick way to create a GIF meme to share online.
