Free Video Editing Tools - Video Resize

This is part 3 of our series on free Vidds tools.

At Vidds, our main app is a full video editing and creation platform in your browser, but we’ve also created free tools that handle basic video editing tasks without requiring an account signup.

Today we’re talking about the video resizer. We created a tool to resize your videos in your browser.

It’s super simple to use:

  1. Open the video resize tool.
  2. Drag and drop your video, or click the red box to select a file from your computer. If your browser can’t load the video, you may need to click “Convert” to enable additional editing options.
  3. Select Resize, then enter the new dimensions.
  4. Click “Go!” to start the conversion, then save the video with the Download link.

We built this because resizing a video shouldn’t require complex software. For example:

  • You need to make your screencast recording smaller.
  • You need to embed a video on your website, but it shouldn’t be 1080p.
  • You want to store some videos on your phone to view later, but the audio is more important than the video.
  • You want to create a GIF, but need to make it smaller because GIFs use tons of bandwidth.

Whatever your reason, our online video resizer is quick and easy.

We know that privacy is important with video content, so our free tools never upload your content to our servers, so your videos are safe and secure because they never leave your laptop.

Resize your videos quickly and easily, any time 🙂

We integrate other tools in case you want to do more than resize. We also have a tool to trim videos, a way to convert them to other formats, create gif clips, add text and image overlays, and take screenshots of videos.
